Wine made from well-ripened Brachetto grapes.

Brachetto grown by the Roero.

Cultivation.
A careful cultivation in vineyard affords not to use chemicals. All the production is obtained by property vineyards, in Cisterna d'Asti.

Bottle ageing.
Up to 5-6 years.

Analytical Characteristics.
Alcohol 13,50% vol.

Appearance.
Ruby red colour with garnet lights.

Nose.
Very aromatic, with floral notes of roses and delicate fruity suggestions of strawberry and raspberry. Also notes of stewed fruit and cherry jam.

Palate.
Sweet and mellow. Quite fresh though not very tannic. A robust, flavoursome and agreeably lingering wine with an intense bouquet.

Serving Temperature.
8°-18° C.

Couplings.
Accompanies chocolate desserts; petits fours; desserts containing spiced, dried or candied fruit.

Bottle ageing.
Up to 2 years.

Analytical Characteristics.
Alcohol 6,00% vol.

Appearance.
Pale ruby colour. Slightly effervescent froth.

Nose.
Very aromatic, with floral and fruity notes of roses and raspberries.

Palate.
Sweet, quite smooth and fresh. Delicate flavour and good length.

Serving Temperature.
8°- 10° C.

Couplings.
Goes well with any dessert, but particularly those with cream, also petits fours, almond or nut cake.
