Roero Arneis D.O.C.G. 2015 " San Giuliano" - 0,75 l bottle. PREMIATO ALLA DOUJA D'OR

Roero Arneis comes from a long tradition of wine, forgotten for many years, but rediscovered in the last few decades, and recently given D.O.C.G recognition.
Our Arneis is produced from the grapes which grow on the Bricco San Giuliano, harvested and selected by hand. Vinified at a constant temperature in stainless steel vats until bottling.

Vine.
Arneis (pure). Vinified and fined tune in steel.

Cultivation.
A careful cultivation in vineyard affords not to use chemicals. All the production is obtained by property vineyards, in Canale d'Alba.

Bottle ageing.
Up to 3 years.

Analytical Characteristics.
Alcohol 13,5% vol.

Appearance.
Pale straw yellow colour with goldenish lights.

Nose.
Flowery and fruity, with light notes of hawthorn, apple, pear and almond.

Palate.
Warm, dry, smooth and fresh. Flavoursome, full-bodied and somewhat lingering.

Serving Temperature.
10°- 12° C.

Couplings.
To accompany starters and fish.

Monferrato Rosso D.O.C. 2010-2012-2013 Bric du Sivu

Monferrato Rosso D.O.C. 2008 "Bric du Sivu" - 0,75 l bottle.

La Pergola’s own creation from a judicious blend of some of the finest wines of the estate: Barbera, Bonarda and Nebbiolo, vinified separately and subsequently assembled and clarified in barrels for several months. To be enjoyed after at least 5 years in the bottle, when mature.

Barbera, Bonarda, Nebbiolo. Clarified and stabilized in oak barrels.

Alcohol 14.0% vol.

Appearance.
Intense ruby red in colour with garnet lights.

Nose.
Rich, spicy and pungent. Slightly fruity, woody, with notes of stewed fruit, vanilla and green pepper.

Palate.
Warm, dry, smooth and fresh. Tannic and full of flavour. Full-bodied, with elegant structure and good finish.

Serving Temperature.
18°- 20° C.

Couplings.
To accompany red meat, game, hard cheeses.

Cisterna d'Asti D.O.C. Superiore 2012-2013

Cisterna d'Asti D.O.C. Superiore 2012-2013 "Bricco Martina" - 0,75 l bottle.

Recently given D.O.C recognition, Cisterna d’Asti comes from a long established tradition. The wine expresses the strong character of the region’s typical Croatina grapes from which it is obtained, in the intensity of its flavours and perfumes, which are balanced by lengthy clarification in oak barrels.

Croatina (pure). Clarified and stabilized in oak barrels.

Cultivation.
A careful cultivation in vineyard affords not to use chemicals. All the production is obtained by property vineyards, in Cisterna d'Asti and Saint Damiano d'Asti.

Bottle ageing.
Until 8-10 years.

Analytical Characteristics.
Alcohol 13.0% vol.

Appearance.
Intense ruby red in colour, with garnet lights.

Nose.
Floral, intensely fruity and vinous, with notes of cherry, plum and hints of almond.

Palate.
Dry, warm and smooth. Sharp and quite tannic and spirited. Elegant structure and body.

Serving Temperature.
20°- 22° C.

To accompany red meat, game, hard cheeses.

Barbera d'Asti D.O.C.G. Superiore 2016

Barbera d'Asti D.O.C.G. Superiore 2016 "Bricco Cappelletta" - 0,75 l bottle.

On the old vines which grow on the Bricco Cappelletta, only the biggest clusters of grapes ripen, and the best of these are then hand-picked at harvest time. The wine from them, after careful vinification, is fined for about a year in oak barrels before bottling.
